Occupy Chop Video Blog Day 10
Occupy Chop discusses the schedule for today revealing the secret May First Planning meeting today (Sat 24Mar2012) at 6PM at the secret location.
The fences have been removed from the lawns around the Santa Cruz Courthouse Water Street steps (Tue 20Mar2012). On Sun 4Dec2012, Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s deputies raided the Occupy Santa Cruz encampment on and around the plaza in front of the courthouse, removing the world-famous OccuDome, protest tables, popups, and tents. At that time orange plastic construction fences were placed around the lawns. The County installed sprinklers and reseeded the (left) east lawn and placed sod on the (right) west lawn. Yesterday was the first time in over three months that the public could use those lawns.
Occupy Santa Cruz holds its General Assembly on the OccuPlaza (courthouse steps), 260 Water Street, Santa Cruz, CA Tuesday and Thursday at 6PM and Saturday at 2PM. GAs on Sunday at 2PM are held at the US Post Office, 850 Front Street, Santa Cruz, CA
